The autonomous network of “slow roads”, built on old railway lines, has two large axes with a total length of 200 kilometers. From west to east (lines 45 and 45A) you can cycle from Trois-Ponts to Stavelot, Malmedy, Waimes, Bütgenbach and Büllingen, and on to Germany. From north to south, the Vennbahn connects Aachen with the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, via Montjoie, Waimes, Sankt Vith and Burg-Reuland. The Vennbahn is one of the longest green roads in Europe.
